Audits in school construction
The inspections cover structural and nonstructural elements of floors and ceilings, with reference to public buildings used for school purposes and surveyed by the National Building Registry (SNAES).
An additional allocation of €25,900,000.00 is also provided for, to be distributed at a later date, for urgent measures that may become necessary following the results of the aforementioned inspections and assessments of floor slabs and suspended ceilings.
Thirty percent of the grants to be allocated through this call for proposals is earmarked for provinces and metropolitan cities; the remaining percentage is allocated to municipalities and/or associations of municipalities.

Who can apply for funding
All local governments that own school buildings of all grades are eligible to apply for funding. Each local government may apply with reference to one or more school buildings it owns or with respect to which it has jurisdiction, in accordance with Law No. 11 of January 1996. 23.
Local governments, through the legal representative or his delegate, should send their applications exclusively through a special information platform, called IDES by connecting to the link:

which will be accessible from 10 a.m. on November 5, 2019 until no later than 3 p.m. on November 29, 2019.
